ABOUT YOU

Dalberg’s commitment to social impact means being passionate about consistently creating high quality knowledge products for clients and as public good. We are seeking a Senior Content Editor for Dalberg Advisors as a dedicated resource in the Asia Communications team to keep these important conversations going.

The role will involve (1) conceptualizing, producing, editing and analyzing compelling content. (2) You will oversee our narratives both on and off projects in the social impact space as we aim to lead, influence and be part of the larger public discourse.

As Senior Editor & Producer, you will work closely with the Communications and project teams and will report to the Head of Communications, Dalberg Asia.

Qualifications

  • Content Expertise: Strong editorial judgment; ability to rapidly absorb complex ideas and distill them into accessible copy for global audiences. The individual will often shape raw content (e.g., a PowerPoint presentation, an outline, speaker notes, a report) into a range of editorial products, from finished reports to publishable articles coordinating with colleagues to ensure that their projects are completed, approved, produced, and published by their deadlines.
  • Communications and presence: Ability to present yourself and your content effectively through slide decks, emails, memos, and vocal communications. Ability to engage comfortably with consultants and operations staff.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics is a plus
  • At least 10 years of work experience in an editing and production role in journalism, corporate communications, media ideally in the development sector, or a relevant industry. Compensation will be commensurate to experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offering structural editorial support and thought partnership on reports, presentation decks, and BD pitches for Dalberg Advisors, Asia
  • Overseeing and developing high-quality narrative content such as blog posts, articles, podcasts, social media graphics, infographic content, ppt presentations, and press releases, etc. This will involve liaising with internal team members (such as the consulting team members, editors, designers, as well as empaneled specialists focused on design or PR)
  • Working closely with the PR firm that is being retained by Dalberg Asia and to ensure timely delivery of all their deliverables including opinion pieces, interviews, and other releases
  • Involvement in firm building, capacity building, and training activities that help teams achieve high-quality on-brand communications
  • Building relationships with and work with external creative as required
