About the Organization:
Tech Mahindra Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of Tech Mahindra Limited, a Mahindra Group Company. The Foundation set up in 2006, as a Section 25 Company (referred to as a Section 8 Company in the Companies Act, 2013), has been working in the areas of Education, Employability and Disability. It operates across eleven locations in India.
About Learning and Development (L&D) unit:
The L&D unit of TMF has been established with a mandate of building the capacity (knowledge, skills and attitude) of internal and external program teams and supporting them in their professional journey. It is expected that the L&D unit’s interventions would improve performance across all TMF programs leading to consistent achievement of our goals and the larger vision of the organization. Location for the position can either be Delhi or Mumbai
Aligning to the same, L&D works on (not limited to)-
- Need Analysis and Identification of gaps / challenges in processes
- Content mapping and development
- Training
- Assessments
- Need based projects
Major Duties and Responsibilities (Need based):
1. Training
- Develop relevant and cost effective tools to identify programmatic needs across locations.
- Plan, conduct and follow-up training of stakeholders (internal & partner stakeholders and beneficiaries) on specific soft and technical skills.
- Prepare digital training content and MOOC courses.
2. Curriculum Development
● Develop and/or Curate curricula for Education and Skill development programs ensuring alignment with NCF and sector skills council respectively.
● Support and guide partners on effective execution of the curriculum.
● Keep LMS updated with all relevant curriculum being used across the board.
● Design lesson plans and learner assessment too.
3. Process Mapping
● Collect, interpret, analyze and present relevant data across various programs in TMF
● Evaluate program effectiveness using MIS
● Develop Learner and Facilitator Assessment Frameworks for various programs
● Observe live classroom sessions and share relevant feedback with facilitators
Knowledge and Skills:
● Understanding of ground realities in the social sector in India
● Training and Facilitation Skills
● Experience in designing and conducting Training workshops, able to use technology for training
● Knowledge of IT (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Good communication skills in English and Hindi, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Marathi / Bengali / Odiya / Kannada / Telugu is an added advantage
● Critical Thinking
● Interpersonal and management skills with the ability to deliver on time
● Team player but also able to work in silos
● Prompt decision making and problem solving skills.
● Ability to conduct secondary research
