Reporting to: Director – HR & Admin

Location: Raigad, Maharashtra

We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to help us monitor the department and create a healthy work environment for our employees. . HR responsibilities include payroll, benefits, hiring, separation, Training and Development and keeping up to date with state and federal tax laws. We are looking for a seasoned HR practitioner willing to contribute actively to Human Resource Management and help us gain position in the Top 10 Great Places to Work.

1. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Setting objectives for the HR function and tracking progress
  • Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Oversee and direct payroll procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
  • Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Identifying and assessing future and current training needs
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers

2. Requirements and skills

  • 10 to 15 years proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role
  • Excellent communication and Leadership skills
  • Good computer and database skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • MBA in HR or relevant certification is a plus
