**About the Wadhwani Foundation:** The Wadhwani Foundation is an organization focused on driving positive change, particularly in the area of economic development. This role is part of a significant new initiative aimed at strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) in India.
**Job Overview:**
The Wadhwani FPO Program, implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, provides capacity building to FPOs and their support organizations (CBBOs) using a technology-driven approach. The Senior Implementation Manager will be a key leader in the program’s success, overseeing its implementation and expansion. This role requires strong collaboration with key stakeholders including the Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium (SFAC), Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), and Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Co-operative Research & Development (LINAC).
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Serve as the primary point of contact and project manager for all program aspects: technical integration, content development, training, deployment, and evaluation.
* Lead training and deployment efforts, coordinating with internal teams responsible for technical integration, content development, and evaluation.
* Collaborate with Wadhwani Foundation staff and partners to address program challenges.
* Provide regular progress reports to leadership.
* Develop a deep understanding of the FPO ecosystem and the Foundation’s capabilities to identify new partnership opportunities.
* Represent the Wadhwani Foundation at relevant events and conferences to promote the FPO Program.
**Skills and Experience:**
* Minimum 10-12 years of experience in program management.
* Proven success managing program implementations within the Indian agricultural sector, ideally with direct experience working with FPOs.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, including senior leadership.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
* Experience working with the Ministry of Agriculture is highly preferred.
* Passion for FPO capacity building and a commitment to driving impactful change.
