Required:

● Native fluency in English and Tamil
● Experience of working with a grassroots organisation along with managing teams
● Post graduate degree (Masters or M.Phil.) in Counselling psychology

Skills:

● Strong background in counselling and service delivery with vulnerable communities.
● Understanding of psycho-social interventions in non-traditional counselling environments.
● Understanding of social justice principles and intersectionality within psycho-social services and ability to translate this in practice.
● Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and crises and ensure client is provided with services without delay.
● Flexibility and creativity in adapting approaches given context and not being dogmatic in adherence to theoretical understanding.
● Adhering to PCVC values and principles in service provision and ensuring that this is embedded in all service delivery.
● Strong management skills to manage team, budgets, work with other teams and deliver quality services.

Responsibilities:

● Mentoring, supervision and case inputs and guidance for a team of psychologists and social workers.
● Managing caseload.
● Ensuring an individualised service plan is in place for each client.
● Design and implementation of psycho-social interventions.
● Capacity building and training & development of the team.
● Assessment of existing service intervention processes and setting up new processes if required.
● Coordinate with other service teams to ensure smooth delivery of services .
● Participate in various program meetings as and when required
● Responsible for donor reports- financial (monthly, quarterly, annual)

Expected work experience: 3 to 4 years in similar role
Remuneration: 4.2 to 4.8 LPA (negotiable with experience and skills)
