**Job Description:**

 

The Senior Learning Experience Officer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering impactful educational experiences within the Indian Equitable Learning Ecosystem (IELE). This role focuses on content curation, capacity building, and integrating modern pedagogical approaches to enhance learning outcomes for underserved communities across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and technology, with a passion for fostering creativity, critical thinking, and 21st-century skills among learners.

 

**Roles & Responsibilities:**

 

* **Content Curation and Development:**

    * Curate and develop high-quality educational content that aligns with the needs of learners and partner organizations’ goals.

    * Integrate project-based learning, experiential learning, and technology-enabled creativity into the curriculum.

    * Collaborate with the Learning Experience team to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and impactful.

* **Training Design and Capacity Building:**

    * Design and deliver training programs for team members, educators, and partner organizations to build capacity in creative coding, STEM, and 21st-century skills.

    * Facilitate master classes on various aspects of creative coding through Scratch, including story-making, animation, and game development.

    * Support the cascade of program strategies through content and capacity-building functions, ensuring alignment with IELE’s objectives.

* **Hackathons and Workshops:**

    * Facilitate both plugged and unplugged hackathons for learners in the community or in schools, promoting problem-solving and innovation.

    * Co-design and lead workshops and reflective webinars that empower stakeholders to become change agents in the government education system.

    * Bring insights from field visits and workshops into the program’s overall LE strategy.

* **Program Alignment and Integration:**

    * Develop an understanding of various thematic areas of school programs, such as 21st-century skills, STEM mindset, and emerging future trends.

    * Contribute to the alignment of the education and technology curriculum with the needs of learners and the broader objectives of IELE.

    * Work closely with the team to ensure that all workshops and virtual sessions are effectively planned, executed, and aligned with the program’s goals.

* **Team Collaboration and Support:**

    * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall program strategy and ensure consistent communication and implementation.

    * Take an active role in team meetings, workshops, and virtual sessions, ensuring that all team members are on board and aligned with the program’s direction.

 

**Qualifications and Skills:**

 

* Educational Background: A degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

* Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in education, curriculum design, or a related role, with a focus on integrating technology in education.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Scratch and other educational technologies.

* Pedagogical Expertise: Strong understanding of modern pedagogical approaches, including creative coding, STEM education, and 21st-century skills.

* Training and Facilitation: Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and webinars for diverse audiences.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners, educators, and stakeholders.

* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partner organizations, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.

* Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to the needs of diverse learning environments and communities.

* Passion for Education: A deep commitment to equity in education and a passion for empowering underserved communities.

* Innovative Mindset: A creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt educational content to meet the needs of diverse learners.

* Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings and understand the unique challenges faced by marginalized communities in India.

 

**Salary:** The pay band for the position starts at Rs. 45,000/- per month (cost to company) (The salary offered will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the candidate).
