**Job Type:** Full-time

**Experience Required:**

* Minimum 3-4 years of work experience, preferably in the social sector.

* At least 2 years of experience working with government departments at a state level.

* 2+ years of experience managing and delivering projects end-to-end.

* 1+ year leading and managing a team of 3+ people through a project.

* 1+ year partnering with the government and building relationships across levels (BDO, SPD, PS, etc.) to drive large-scale projects.

**Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with other organizations within the Project Management Unit (PMU).

* Conduct primary and/or secondary research to understand scheme implementation gaps, budgets, and process flows.

* Create policy or scheme-related memos and briefs.

* Design and implement initiatives to improve the implementation of government schemes.

* Identify and onboard partners to support Indus Action’s work.

* Manage operations within the allocated budget and ensure project goals are achieved.

* Work with various government departments (Panchayat and Rural Development, Labor, Health and Family Welfare) to build upon existing work and develop new partnerships.

**Required Skills:**

* **Stakeholder Management:** Proven ability to manage relationships with government officials at various levels.

* **Project Management:** Expertise in project planning, execution, budget management, quality control, and monitoring & evaluation.  Familiarity with design thinking principles.

* **Data & Technology:** Ability to understand technology used in MIS systems and envision its role in improving implementation. Strong analytical skills for strategy development and data analysis.

* **Research & Analysis:** Experience with fieldwork/primary research (preferred), secondary research, data analysis, and report writing.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Strong understanding of local language (Hindi), culture, and terrain in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
