Requirements

Position Summary – 

The Finance Executive / Senior Manager will work with an existing finance team of 3 members in ensuring accurate maintenance of organization books of accounts and related tasks. The employee will be expected to engage with project teams across the country to manage financial requests and compliances. You will be Reporting to 

Role and Responsibilities (including KRAs)

  • Managing GST related provisions and compliances
  • Maintain accounts as per relevant statutory provisions of Grant Accounting
  • Prepare budgeting and re-forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Timely clearance of vendor, employee payments such as reimbursements, statutory payments such as provident fund and TDS during the month
  • Support in statutory and Funder Audit
  • Adheres to secretarial compliances with respect to Board Meetings

Knowledge and Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in maintaining books of accounts in Tally and Computex
  • Expertise in Excel and Google Docs
  • Competency in provisions of Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act 2017 and related compliances
  • Competency in provisions of Income-tax Act, 1961 and related compliances
  • Basic knowledge of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA)

Education and Experience – 

  • Must have an experience of working with NGO
  • Location of work will be Delhi with 2 days of working from office
  • Semi qualified CA (CA Intermediate)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience

Benefits

Compensation 

Compensation will be based on the Indus Action ‘s compensation benchmarking rubric. The range of compensation will be between INR 6-9.LPA depending on qualifications, experience and fit to the role. The candidate would need to use his/her own laptop and the organization will bear the annual maintenance cost of up to 12000 per year as per actuals.
