Timely, high-impact, and quality delivery of goals at scale would be essential and will be a key performance measurement criterion. S/he will directly manage a team of experienced finance people. The Senior Manager, Finance, will report to the Director, Finance. S/he will be based out of Delhi NCR (Noida), India.

- As a social organisation, social change motivates us first. Our focus is on advancing our mission objectives – to increase functioning, productivity, and income earning potential for our low-income people by correcting impaired vision with eyeglasses.
- We are working to transform the systemic dysfunction which has failed to deliver eyeglasses – a 700-year-old technology – to approximately 60 Crore people in India in need of vision correction.

What You’ll Do
- Supervise the financial operations of the organisation.
- Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to your team and other colleagues.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices including cash management, payroll, financial disbursements, ledgers, and others.
- Prepare financial statements, such as profit and loss account, balance sheet, and cash flows and produce monthly schedules from SAP.
- Manage all finance and tax related compliances.
- Ensure strict compliance to Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and submit timely reports.
- Manage donor funds/grants, prepare utilisation reports, and ensure adherence to CSR compliances.
- Lead the program and project audits.
- Maintain the total fund position and manage the distribution of funds across various programs.
- Advise management on financial matters.
- Manage monthly close and related reporting.
- Analyse financial statements monthly and report key insights.
- Lead the financial and tax audits, both internal and statutory.
- Lead budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Document, monitor, and update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Keep yourself update with the latest in the field of finance and legal compliance.
- Manage other projects/work as assigned by the organization.
- Lead a team of accountants who do daily bookkeeping.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance; Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred.
- At least 12 to 15 years of work experience in finance and accounts.
- Relevant social sector experience is preferred.
- Excellent financial knowledge and experience (theoretical and practical).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi, including strong presentation skills.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Word/MS Excel (including Pivot Tables)/PowerPoint/Internet).
- Must meet the highest standards of ethics and personal integrity.
