**Position Overview**:  

Swaniti Initiative seeks a Senior Manager to lead its Just Transition program, promoting equitable and inclusive transitions toward a sustainable low-carbon economy. The role requires expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, policy ecosystems, program management, community engagement, and sustainable development. The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders including governments, industries, labor organizations, and communities to prioritize economic, social, and environmental justice.

**Key Responsibilities**:  

– **Research & Technical Expertise**: Finalize and execute research projects, coordinate with stakeholders, propose new ideas, conduct desk reviews and primary research, provide technical feedback, and analyze policies.

– **Program Design & Management**: Develop and oversee programs aligned with organizational goals, manage budgets, and publish periodic reviews for stakeholders.

– **Policy Advocacy**: Engage decision-makers through strategies based on program findings, build relationships with key players, represent the organization at events, and organize consultative meetings.

– **Additional Duties**: Contribute to proposals and reports, collaborate with other departments, draft contracts, manage vendors, and support parliamentary work.

**Qualifications**:  

– Advanced degree (PhD/MPhil or Master’s) in economics, public policy, or related fields.

– Minimum 7 years of experience (or 3-4 with a PhD) in relevant sectors.

– Expertise in statistical tools and data analysis.

– Experience in policy/governance/development, project management, stakeholder engagement, analytical skills, communication, team leadership, and just transition principles.

– Publications in reputed journals and knowledge of air quality are preferred.
