## Senior Manager, Monitoring & Evaluation
**The/Nudge Institute** is an action institute dedicated to building resilient livelihoods and alleviating poverty in India. We work with diverse communities, including women, farmers, tribals, and youth, on crucial initiatives like rural development, agriculture, skilling, and economic inclusion. We partner with over 15 central and state government entities to drive positive change.

**The Impact Hub** at The/Nudge aims to be a leading M&E and Knowledge Centre for the livelihood ecosystem. We conduct high-quality evaluations and research, while serving as the Impact measurement and Management function for all T/Nudge programs internally.
**Job Location:** Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
**Experience Required:** 10+ years of experience, ideally combined with 4-6 years of M&E experience in India or other developing countries (across rural/urban livelihoods, education, health, environment). Experience with incubation support, impact investing, or government engagement is desirable.
**Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with leadership across The/Nudge centers to create and validate their Monitoring and Evaluation strategy and Theory of Change. Lead the design of a common impact assessment framework.
* Define the monitoring and evaluation framework for each program, including metrics and factors driving/hindering data collection.
* Drive evaluations (including third party and multi-player), focusing on deep understanding of outcomes to generate insights for program refinement and enhancement. Involve external stakeholders for maximum effectiveness.
* Create access to external datasets and impact information (government and non-government), integrating them with T/Nudge data and knowledge for learning and insights.
* Support the wider organization in integrating cross-cutting areas like gender, empowerment, and SDGs.
* Lead and mentor the Impact Hub team, creating spaces for learning and development around data intersections.
* Collaborate with third-party evaluators in and beyond the development space.
**Qualifications:**
* Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with experience in data design and analytical framework development.
* Expert knowledge of statistical methods.
* Ability to apply theoretical frameworks to practical situations.
* Ability to combine macroeconomic understanding with microeconomic program aspects.
* Keen interest in the fast-paced, start-up environment.
* Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
* Proven experience in building, nurturing, and leading high-performing teams.
* Passion for solving complex problems and making a positive impact.
* Education in developmental studies, public policy, rural development, management, or economics preferred.
