## Senior Manager, Strategy and Impact

**Location:** Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Ahmedabad
**Experience Required:** 5+ years of work experience, with at least 2 years in management consulting or complex project management.
**About the Role:**
As the Senior Manager, Strategy and Impact, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Teach For India. You will be responsible for anchoring key projects across the organization’s strategic priorities, including:
* **Medium-to-long term organizational strategy:** Supporting projects like a longitudinal research study on student outcomes, identifying new sites for expansion, and defining pathways to reach our North Star of building 50,000 leaders.
* **Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Impact reporting and evaluation:** Owning end-to-end impact reporting, vertical-level annual strategic planning, stakeholder surveys, data management and analysis.
* **Internal consulting projects:** Supporting teams on short-term projects to build internal capacity and solve specific problem statements.
You will also be responsible for:
* **Leading cross-vertical projects:** Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the organization is impactful, enduring, and effective.
* **Training and coaching team members:** Developing team members’ skills in problem definition, solution frameworks, analytical skills, reporting, and project management.
* **Acting as a thought-partner:** Providing strategic guidance to the Director, Strategy and Impact, and the Leadership Team.
* **Managing and coaching:** Leading and developing the Associate, Strategy and Impact, and interns.
* **Building a robust pipeline of talent:** Supporting team hiring, onboarding, and capacity building.
* **Driving engagement, growth, and retention:** Fostering a positive and supportive team environment.
* **Engineering and overseeing a monitoring and evaluation system:** Ensuring continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.
**Key Qualifications:**
* 5+ years of work experience, with at least 2 years in management consulting or complex project management.
* Strong project management skills and ability to take complete ownership of multiple projects at a time.
* Strong data and analytical skills (excellent Google Sheets/MS Excel skills, data/evidence gathering, analysis and interpretation, hypotheses framing and validation) and research capabilities.
* Ability to create dynamic reports and dashboards (on spreadsheets such as Google Sheets/ MS Excel or CRM/ data visualisation tools, such as Salesforce or Power BI).
* Excellent Google Slides/ MS PowerPoint skills and ability to create compelling narratives of impact or insights.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence with presenting.
* Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and outcome oriented ability, with the capability to motivate direct reports to develop the same.
