## Job Description: Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition

**Position Summary**
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will be a key member of the Human Resources team at Teach For India. You will play a critical role in attracting and selecting top talent to join our movement. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire talent acquisition process, from strategy development to candidate engagement and onboarding, with a particular focus on senior leadership roles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Talent Strategy & Operations:** Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with Teach For India’s vision and growth goals. This includes identifying key hiring metrics, designing and executing efficient talent acquisition processes, and managing the talent calendar and budget.
* **Building Partnerships:** Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, Fellow Alumni, interns, volunteers, universities, and external stakeholders. Collaborate with the Communications vertical on regional branding strategies and work with the Technology Director to develop necessary platforms and tools for the application process.
* **Pipeline Development:** Establish a robust talent pipeline for senior leadership roles, focusing on sourcing, engaging, and selecting highly qualified candidates.
* **Project Management:** Oversee the entire talent acquisition process, ensuring efficient operations, effective job profiling, and thoughtful Matriculation and onboarding plans.
* **Program Design & Implementation:** Design and implement a comprehensive engagement program to successfully recruit Teach For India’s Staff Alumni back to the organization. Oversee the design and implementation of a world-class intern program that attracts future leaders to the educational sector and creates a talent pool for staff and Fellow roles.
* **People Management:** Lead and coach a team of 1-2 Managers and 2 Associates, supporting their development and growth within the talent acquisition function.
* **Organizational Alignment:** Contribute to the overall team goals and priorities, driving internal alignment and support for Teach For India’s core programs.
* **Brand Ambassadorship:** Serve as an ambassador of the Teach For India brand, advocating for our work and for educational equity in India through internal and external communication.
**Qualifications:**
* 5-8 years of professional experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a high-growth environment.
* Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams to achieve ambitious outcomes.
* Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience in working effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups, particularly through partnerships.
* Previous experience in teaching or the education sector would be a significant advantage.
