**Job Description:**
We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our South-South technology transfer initiatives. This role involves translating research into commercial projects, negotiating contracts, managing teams, and building strategic partnerships to enhance our impact in sustainable development.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Collaborate with internal and external research teams to develop marketable technologies.
– Identify commercial strategies for transferring technologies globally.
– Negotiate licensing agreements and manage intellectual property rights.
– Liaise with academic institutions and organizations to source and develop technologies.
– Monitor industry trends and support business development activities.
– Network with national and international stakeholders to enhance visibility.
**Desired Qualifications:**
Postgraduate/Doctorate in Engineering, Science, or Management.
**Desired Work Experience:**
8-10 years in managing research outcomes through licensing, partnerships, and commercial ventures.
**Desirable Attributes:**
– Commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
– Team leadership and project management expertise.
– Experience with government and international clients.
– Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized.
– Proficiency in computer software and fluent English communication.
