Experience:

  • Minimum experience of 8 years. Candidates having experience of managing large WASH and nutrition projects in rural areas will be given preference.

Skills & Competencies required:

  • Significant work experience (minimum 8 years) with reputed organizations in projects related to WASH and nutrition.
  • Candidate must have experience of managing large projects around these sectors.
  • High level of technical expertise is must in the mentioned sectors.
  • Experience of coordinating multiple teams, projects, donors, and events.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and project tools. Excellent grip over MS Excel, numbers analysis and ability to work fast is desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills in English and Hindi.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to project areas in multiple states.
  • Excellent understanding of policy environment around WASH and nutrition sectors
  • Willingness to engage with government and other agencies.  

Job Profile:

  • Providing technical depth to drinking water, sanitation, and nutrition programs of the organization.
  • Creating an in-depth understanding of various government flagship initiatives around drinking water, sanitation, and nutrition within the organization.
  • Progress monitoring of all initiatives around WASH and nutrition across the organization.
  • Capacity building of field teams on technical and policy aspects of WASH and nutrition.
  • Management of various stakeholders involved in WASH and nutrition sectors.
  • Representing the organization on all major platforms related to WASH and nutrition.
  • Bringing in new designs and innovations to the WASH and nutrition sectors.
  • Coordinating creation of training materials and communication materials related to the allocated sectors.
  • Coordination with external consultants and expert agencies to bring technical expertise within the organization.
  • Organizing capacity building events for government officers whenever required.
  • New proposal writing and resources generation.
