Job Description
Dhwani Rural Information Systems Pvt Ltd. is looking to hire a Senior Manager (Partnerships), to help with new client acquisition for Dhwani’s software solutions and tech consulting services. Our ideal senior manager needs to have 5+ years’ work experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in social sector consulting/IT consulting/Government advisory and experience working with CSRs, Philanthropies or Large NGOs. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of and experience with the partnership process, excelling at lead generation, business communication, and closing deals. We’re seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and an individual with the right skillset to influence and inspire the team.

Responsibilities
The Senior Manager (Partnerships) will work with a team in the following activities –
• Become the face of Dhwani RIS, leading conversations with multiple third parties, to further the goals and upholding the ethos of the organization.
• Streamline the client’s IT requirements through a consultative approach.
• Lead the team in proposal writing, contract preparation and documentation work.
• Setup of client demo projects on our software platforms according to client specifications.
• Assist in strategizing webinar promotions through various channels.
• Conduct and Make decisions based on the market research of potential CSR clients, NGO clients.
• Engage in regular follow-up over mail or calls with the pipeline clients.
• Generate new leads through social media outreach and networking in professional circles, conferences.
• Support communications team manager for communications material preparation (posters/videos/training manuals/LinkedIn content etc.)
• Initiate requirement gathering discussions, by taking minutes of meetings & sharing with clients, and internal teams.
Essential Requirements
• Prior education or experience in the social sector is a must.
• Having interest in working in the realm partnerships/capital building/client communication.
• Leveraging their own networks to generate leads for organization.
• Well-connected with a number of donors, and social purpose organization networks.
• Penchant for leveraging technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness for day-to-day operations.
• Understanding of Monitoring & Evaluation and basic Project Management.
• Practical understanding of development sector.
• Sufficient existing knowledge of trends in the tech4good space, or an interest for the same.
• Candidates with prior experience or exposure to the IT sector are desirable.
Educational Qualifications
Preferable a Masters Degree from a reputed institution with 5+ years of experience of working in a similar vertical.
