TITLE: Senior Program Associate, Mentor To Go

LOCATION: Bangalore, Mumbai or Hyderabad

PURPOSE:  The Senior Program Associate owns and implements key phases of a successful mentoring program. They work with corporates and educational institutions to forge partnerships that bring interested mentors and mentees into the program. They participate in reviewing and vetting mentors and mentees before they are matched. They orient mentoring pairs and support their mentoring journey to successful completion.

EXPERIENCE: Overall 4-9 years of relevant experience (in education, social work, community development, youth development or related fields); a minimum of 2 years of experience in Program Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forge and maintain partnerships with corporate or other professional organisations. Drive these partnerships to provide a pipeline of mentors per the need of the program. Work with mentor partners in creating and successfully executing mentor outreach campaigns through in-person orientations, webinars, emailer campaigns.
  • Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for designated mentor partners.
  • Help partners meet program excellence goals, which are standards set for the number of successful mentor applications per partner.
  • Support and select mentor applicants through to successful mentorshipFollow-up with designated mentor applicants during their pre-eligibility processes.
  • Interview mentors and clarify program questions as per the program goals.
  • Support mentorship pairs & groupsSupport a designated number of mentorship pairs and groups in successfully completing their mentorship.
  • Achieve program excellence goals of maintaining early terminations of mentorships to under 20% and achieving the desired net promoter score from pairs managed.
  • Update qualitative and quantitative records for pairs, record stories of impact.
  • Standard Operating Process ownershipTrain team members in using the Standard Operating
  • Procedures prepared through modes of demonstrations, live training, and shadowing.
