TITLE: SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

LOCATION: Bangalore or Hyderabad

PURPOSE:  The Senior Program Manager oversees a program team in successfully delivering our mentoring program. They are responsible for overall operational planning, oversight of program execution, achievement of program excellence goals, and people management and development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONAL PLANNING 

  • Create and own the annual gantt for the Mentor To Go program.
  • Create detailed operational plans for sub-phases like Mentee Partner Sign-Up, Mentor Partner Sign-Up, Mentee Townhalls, Mentor Screening etc . 

OPERATIONS OVERSIGHT 

  • Provide program planning (quarterly & monthly) support.
  • Create and review operational processes.
  • Provide operational oversight to ensure program timelines and goals are met. 

PROGRAM EXCELLENCE

  • Setup customised process benchmarks for key operational processes, through review of mentoring benchmarks. These will include around pair attrition, pair satisfaction, quality of mentor and mentee experience etc
  • Ensure training and process standard operating procedures are aligned to the operational benchmarks
  • Provide operational oversight to review and improve process excellence on a monthly and quarterly cadence            

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT 

  • People management of a 5-10 member operations team
  • Recruitment for open roles
  • Ongoing performance planning and reviews
  • Ensuring overall engagement of the Mentor To Go team in alignment with Mentor Together’s HR practices and policies. 

EXPERIENCES, SKILLS, & COMPETENCIES:

  • 8 – 12 years of work experience, with at least 5 years of program management/program leadership experience.
  • Very strong analytical, planning, and forecasting skills
  • Comfortable with a range of software – excel, gantt charts, project management software
  • Highly detail oriented  
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable leading a team that works in a fast-paced program, with a mindset to do new things and take risks.
