### **About Us**
SELCO Foundation is an open-source, non-profit organization dedicated to field-based research and ecosystem building for deploying clean energy solutions that alleviate poverty in tribal, rural, and urban poor areas. We collaborate with practitioners in the social sector, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions to link sustainable energy benefits to poverty eradication. Our work spans energy access, health, livelihoods, and enterprise development.

### **Job Description**
SELCO Foundation launched the Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP) in 2021. This program aims to transform the dialogue on the role of SDG7 (Sustainable Energy for All) in prioritizing climate resilience among the poor. The initiative highlights evidence-based solutions that empower marginalized communities to adapt to climate change while promoting sustainable energy transitions.

### **Key Responsibilities**
– Anchor critical research, narrative building exercises, and events for SELCAP.
– Monitor sector trends and plan organizational activities accordingly.
– Develop and implement a communication strategy to disseminate learnings and best practices.
– Innovate methods to communicate key narratives effectively within the organization and externally.
– Coordinate with internal teams to ensure ecosystem approach implementation and cross-learning.
– Conduct regular team meetings to monitor milestones and update members on best practices.
– Design and manage partnerships, developing long-term strategic plans.
– Plan for regular blogs, newsletters, and updates to inform the sector of key learnings.

### **Qualifications**
– At least 6 years of experience in the social impact sector, with 1-2 years in climate action programs or research.
– Experience in journalistic research, coalition building, and network development in the development sector.
– Strong interest in climate change and sustainability from a ground perspective.
– Proficiency in conducting landscape studies through primary consultations, case studies, and dissemination strategies.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks seamlessly.
– Strong communication skills (written and oral) to break down complex information for diverse audiences.
– Demonstrated proactive problem-solving, decision-making, and multicultural teamwork abilities.
– Willingness to learn rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
