**Position:** Senior Program Manager, Sustainable Energy for Climate Action Program
**Location:** Bangalore
**Reports to:** Associate Director, SELCO Foundation
**About SELCO Foundation:**
SELCO Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on developing clean energy solutions to alleviate poverty in underserved communities across India. It collaborates with NGOs, entrepreneurs, and educational institutions to integrate sustainable energy into poverty eradication efforts.
**Job Description:**
The Senior Program Manager will lead the Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP), which aims to highlight the role of SDG7 in climate resilience for marginalized populations. Key responsibilities include:
– Anchoring research, narrative building, and event coordination for SELCAP.
– Monitoring sector trends and planning organizational activities.
– Developing and implementing communication strategies to disseminate learnings.
– Designing partnerships and strategic plans.
– Managing content creation for blogs, newsletters, and updates.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Manage research and communication strategies for SELCAP.
2. Coordinate with internal teams to implement ecosystem approaches.
3. Conduct landscape studies and design dissemination strategies.
4. Develop partnerships and strategic plans.
5. Create content for sectoral updates and communications.
**Qualifications:**
– 6+ years of experience in social impact, preferably in climate action or similar fields.
– Experience in journalistic research, coalition building, and landscape studies.
– Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to connect conceptual approaches with ground realities.
