**Position Summary:**
The Senior Program Manager will coordinate and lead programmatic activities within a region, ensuring progress towards student outcomes, Fellow development, and a strong regional culture. This role reports to the City Director and directly manages program staff. While designed for a Senior Manager level, candidates meeting the criteria for a Coach level will also be considered; responsibilities may vary based on the final level.
**Responsibilities:**
* **Programmatic Leadership:** Design annual strategies, implementation plans, and coordinate Fellow placements. Oversee student leadership initiatives, training, coaching, and partnerships. Build and maintain a strong regional culture aligned with organizational values. Collaborate with central teams and other regions to share best practices. Play a key role in Training Institutes and Program Manager inductions.
* **People Management:** Build a strong talent pipeline, manage and coach team members (5-7 or more), drive engagement and retention, and oversee a monitoring and evaluation system.
* **Organizational Contribution:** Contribute to broader team goals, drive internal alignment, serve as a Teach For India ambassador, and support areas like recruitment, fundraising, and volunteer engagement.
**Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations:**
* Bachelor’s Degree.
* Minimum two years of teaching experience in a low-income school, demonstrating success in student academic and personal development.
* Minimum two years of instructional leadership experience with proven results in Fellow growth, student growth, team culture, training effectiveness, and school partnerships.
* Experience managing teams of 5-7 people or more preferred.
