**Job Description: Senior Program Manager – Sustainable Energy for Climate Action Program**

SELCO Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on field-based research and ecosystem building to deploy clean energy solutions that alleviate poverty in underserved areas. Collaborating with social sector practitioners, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs, and educational institutions, we link sustainable energy benefits to poverty eradication across sectors like energy access, health, livelihoods, and enterprise development.
**Job Description:**
SELCO Foundation launched the Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP) in 2021. This program aims to transform the dialogue on SDG7’s role in climate resilience among marginalized communities. The initiative highlights evidence-based solutions to empower the poor to adapt to climate change and transition to sustainable energy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Anchor critical research, narrative building, and events for SELCAP.
– Monitor sector trends and plan organizational activities accordingly.
– Develop and implement a communication strategy for disseminating learnings.
– Innovate in communicating narratives, concepts, and approaches.
– Coordinate with internal teams to implement ecosystem approaches and cross-learning.
– Conduct regular team meetings to track milestones and share best practices.
– Design and manage partnerships, developing long-term strategic plans.
– Plan and execute blogs, newsletters, and updates on key learnings.
**Who Should Apply:**
Candidates must have:
– At least 6 years of experience in the social impact sector, with 1-2 years in climate action programs.
– Experience in journalistic research, coalition building, and conducting landscape studies.
– Strong communication skills (written and oral) to break down complex information and resonate with diverse audiences.
– Proactive problem-solving, decision-making, and multicultural teamwork abilities.
– Willingness to learn rapidly and travel.
