**Job Title:** Senior Program Manager, Sustainable Energy for Climate Action Program

**Job Description:**
SELCO Foundation’s Sustainable Energy Led Climate Action Program (SELCAP) aims to transform the understanding of SDG7 (Sustainable Energy for All) in prioritizing climate resilience among impoverished populations. This program seeks to:
* Generate evidence on solutions addressing climate change and poverty.
* Conduct landscape studies to identify key gaps and inform strategies for scaling solutions.
* Develop a narrative that connects on-the-ground realities with global conversations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead research, narrative building exercises, and events for SELCAP.
* Monitor sector trends and narratives to inform organizational activities.
* Develop and implement a communication strategy for disseminating learnings and best practices.
* Develop innovative communication methods for improved internal and external uptake of key information.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure an ecosystem approach and cross-learning.
* Conduct regular team meetings to monitor milestones and share best practices.
* Design and manage partnerships, creating long-term strategic plans.
* Plan and create regular blogs, newsletters, and updates to inform the sector about key learnings.
**Experience Required:**
* Minimum 6 years of experience in the social impact sector, with 1-2 years specifically in climate action programs or research.
* Experience in journalistic research, coalition/network building within the development sector.
* Demonstrated interest in climate change and sustainability issues from a grassroots perspective.
* Proven experience conducting landscape studies through primary consultations, utilizing case studies, and developing dissemination strategies.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to connect conceptual approaches and narratives with on-the-ground realities.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to process complex information and simplify it for diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to adapt communication styles to resonate with different target audiences.
* Proactive problem-solving skills and strong decision-making capabilities.
* Willingness to learn and grow rapidly in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.
* Willingness to travel.
