Job Opportunity For Senior Program Officer- Digital Primary Health Care (PHC) At PATH In Mumbai

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage and lead project teams and other stakeholders at the state, district and block levels
  • Work closely and build collaborative relationships with state, district and block level stakeholders for project implementation.
  • Coordinate and participate in the state planning and review meetings to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
  • Work closely with senior state and district officials for TA support
  • Lead gap assessment activities for digital health and support development of State Digital Health Roadmap.
  • Plan project activities in coordination with PATH Delhi team
  • Supervise training and capacity building activities for state and district officials, Medical Officers, ASHAs, ANMs and others as per project requirements
  • Support finalization of IEC-BCC plan and translations, where required
  • Monitor implementation of Comprehensive Primary Health Care application, other digital health solutions, UAT and escalation of day-to-day issues
  • Accelerate and monitor adoption of ABDM by stakeholders
  • Track, monitor and review field activities and field observations for project reports
  • Lead documentation of project activities and updates
  • Track and manage project activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes in the state.
  • Further, identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies
  • Day to day liaison with state level administration for smooth implementation of the program as well as interdepartmental coordination.
     

Education Qualification, Experience and Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience and demonstrated skills in public health program management (experience in digital health projects preferable)
  • Master’s degree in management or public health from a reputable graduate school.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with state and district level government health departments, preferably in Maharashtra
  • Technical knowledge and field experience of planning and implementation of public health programs, especially RMNCH and health systems strengthening in Maharashtra
  • Familiarity with Indian public health system, flagship initiatives in health sector and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly NHM, Ayushman Bharat Health & Wellness Centers, ABDM, National Health Programs etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading people and projects at a strategic and operational level
  • Proven ability to multi-task and collaborate work effectively with senior staff, colleagues, donors, partner organizations, stakeholders, local institutions, and others at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines, and an emphasis on quality.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Excellent skills in facilitation, team building and coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent command over MS Office applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi is essential
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-site organization and in a team-based structure.
  • Proven effectiveness while working in a team-based environment, but capable also of working independently.
  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with other agencies, stakeholders and other organizations including government counterparts at state and district level
