**Job Title:** Senior Project Associate/Analyst

The Convergence Foundation (FED) is a Delhi-based non-profit organization dedicated to achieving sustained, broad-based economic growth exceeding 10% in India. Recognizing the crucial link between economic growth and poverty reduction, FED focuses on identifying high-potential sectors (Export Led Labour Intensive Manufacturing, Tourism, and Construction) and collaborating with policymakers to implement impactful reforms. The organization boasts a distinguished advisory board including Dr. Aravind Panagariya, Naushad Forbes, Gurcharan Das, Jerry Rao, and Ashish Dhawan, guiding its strategic direction and execution. FED’s approach involves research and strategy, communication and outreach, and implementation support, working closely with various state governments (e.g., Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu) on their economic growth agendas.
**Job Summary:**
We seek an exceptional Senior Project Associate/Analyst to contribute to our exciting growth. This high-energy role demands a proactive individual who thrives in a start-up environment and is passionate about economic development. You will design and execute projects, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic initiatives addressing key economic challenges in India. The role involves working with both internal and external stakeholders on cross-functional projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Execute work plans in collaboration with leadership.
* Contribute to stakeholder mapping and advocacy plans.
* Manage diverse operational tasks to support organizational success.
* Prepare comprehensive documents (presentations, spreadsheets, etc.) for projects.
* Generate progress reports for internal and external reviews.
* Manage projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
* Analyze publicly available data and provide insightful interpretations.
**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:**
* Undergraduate degree from a Tier 1 college; a Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
* 3+ years of experience; prior experience in management or impact consulting is preferred.
* Exceptional analytical and technical skills.
* Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, protocol, and deadlines.
* Highly analytical thinking with sound business judgment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, including strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
* Adaptability and responsiveness, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Proven ability to work independently and solve problems effectively, ideally within a remote team setting.
