**Job Title:** Senior Project Lead – State Reform

Central Square Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing learning outcomes for school-going children across India through system-led reforms. Established in 2012, CSF focuses on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), collaborating with state governments to design and execute statewide FLN Missions. The organization integrates EdTech solutions, teacher capacity building, and evidence-based practices to improve learning outcomes. CSF works closely with national and state governments, partner organizations, and stakeholders to achieve its mission of reducing learning poverty in India.

 

**Position Overview:**  

The Senior Project Lead role is pivotal in driving large-scale educational reforms in Madhya Pradesh (MP) as part of the NIPUN Bharat mission. This position involves overseeing multiple workstreams related to FLN implementation, including material creation, system-led assessments, teacher training, and district-level reforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience working with government stakeholders, and a commitment to educational transformation.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**  

– Manage 4-5 workstreams, supported by 4-6 project managers and cross-functional teams.

– Collaborate with SCERT to develop and deliver academic materials to all schools in MP.

– Oversee system-led assessment frameworks, including developing tools, training assessors, and analyzing data for state-level reports.

– Work closely with the State Mission Director and coalition partners to align FLN initiatives with government objectives.

– Lead district-level reforms, including establishing FLN fellowships and supporting district project management units.

– Ensure timely delivery of materials, assessments, and training programs to meet state goals.

 

**Qualifications:**  

– Bachelor’s degree from a reputed university; Master’s preferred.  

– 9-12 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in government or development sectors.  

– Proven track record in project delivery and management.  

– Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi.  

– Ability to build relationships with government stakeholders and lead teams effectively.  

– Prior exposure to education, public/development sectors, or consulting is preferred.  

 

**Compensation:**  

Remuneration is competitive and based on experience levels within Indian philanthropy pay scales.
