**Job Description: Senior Project Manager – Strategic Support States**
**Location:** Guwahati, Assam, India

**Position Overview:**
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will lead and manage projects related to foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) in Assam. This role involves designing curriculum frameworks, developing teaching materials, conducting training programs, and collaborating with state-level stakeholders to enhance learning outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Design state curricula for foundational grades, aligning with the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS)-2022 and NIPUN Bharat Guidelines.
– Provide academic inputs on pedagogical approaches for foundational grades.
– Develop strategies to address multilingual and multigrade classrooms through research, pilot interventions, and scaling successful models.
– Identify and resolve gaps in academic design and implement Teacher Professional Development (TPD) programs.
– Conduct training for teachers, Cluster Resource Centre Coordinators (CRCCs), block officials, and district officials.
– Design and execute a program for onsite coaching and mentoring of teachers, focusing on capacity building.
– Support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in monitoring, institutional structures, communication, and political salience.
– Update team members’ academic knowledge through appropriate forums/mediums.
– Prepare timely and accurate proposals and reports.
**Qualifications:**
– Master’s degree in education, development studies, public policy, or social sciences.
– Minimum of 6 years of work experience in the education sector, with a focus on project delivery and stakeholder management.
– Prior experience working with state/district-level governance and institutional structures in designing academic programs is highly desirable.
– Ability to undertake field travel for at least 10 days per month.
– Fluency in Assamese and English; proficiency in Bodo or Bengali is an advantage.
– Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
– Excellent project execution abilities, including task breakdown, timeline adherence, and balancing multiple priorities.
**Compensation:**
Remuneration will be competitive, aligned with Indian philanthropy pay scales, depending on the candidate’s experience level.
