MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) is an independent business division, under Digital India Corporation, aimed at strengthening the tech start-up ecosystem in the country. MSH acts as a hub to ensure synergies among all the incubation centres, Centres of entrepreneurship, societies of MeitY, and other existing platforms. For the effective implementation of its objectives, MSH seeks the support of qualified, experienced, and dynamic candidates.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Portal Manager to oversee the development and management of our company’s online portal. The manager will be responsible for ensuring the portal is user-friendly, secure, and provides a seamless experience for our customers and employees. The manager will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the portal meets business needs and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing front-end and back-end web architecture, including APIs.
• Undertaking navigation analysis and browser compatibility assessments and testing.
• Ensuring proper operation of the MSH Portal including the maintenance thereof.
• Updating various dashboards and other relevant content on the MSH Portal.
• Work in coordination with the MeitY, DIC and other stakeholders in development and maintenance of the MSH Portal
• Track and report on all site metrics (user analytics) and forthcoming developments monthly to senior managers.
• Take necessary initiatives to ensure consistent increase of the user base of MSH Portal.
• Undertaking and improving search engine optimization (SEO) results for the MSH Portal.
• Respond to any queries that are received on MSH Portal regarding the usage thereof.
• Perform UI design and coding and create reusable objects and wireframes for web pages and email templates.
• Create well-designed and tested code using best practices for web development, including for responsive design and mobile display
• Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, and incorporate data from back-end databases and services
• Create and maintain workflows for teams, providing visibility and ensuring balance
• Develop or validate testing schedules that address all browsers and devices, ensuring web content can be accessed on any computer
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies 

Skills and Abilities:

• Thorough understanding and proven abilities in JavaScript, Relevant libraries of Python, HTML, CSS, Stack Developer, CSS, DBMS, SQL, Web Applications, Relevant cyber security certifications.
  Worked in every aspect of SDLC.
• Hands-on experience on HTML/CSS practices, back-end data base management and services
• Conduct file backups regularly to local directories
• Proven abilities in testing (Alpha, beta, user).
• Ability to independently lead and execute projects
• Advanced Excel skills, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Ability to independently lead and execute projects.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering- Computer science, IT, or other related & relevant discipline. 
• 5 to 8 years of work experience in relevant domain.
• Experience in work experience in large corporates or any govt. organization in the IT domain. 

Tenure:  Contractual role for 2 years (extendable)
