Job Opportunity For Senior Software Engineer II At Akamai In India

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Researching, proposing, and integrating relevant open-source projects based on product objectives for our stakeholders
• Providing technical expertise, proposing system designs, solving problems and leading your team
  Working in an environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication
• Improving internal processes and systems on a consistent basis, showcasing effective communication
• Mentoring engineers through knowledge sharing, coaching, and training

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 7+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Have hands-On with Python3 and any RestAPIs based modern web development frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI
• Have working experience with RDBMS like SQL, Postgres and ORMS like SQLAlchemy
• Have working experience with any JavaScript based frameworks like React, Angular, VueJS with HTML, CSS, TypeScript
• Have knowledge of accessibility standards, design patterns, styling approaches, tooling Eg:
• Material UI, CSS modules, Axe, Cypress
• Have a solid understanding of CI/CD, Docker, Networking, Security, X.509 Certs, Linux and testing practices
