**About the India Schools Team**

 

The India Schools Team works collaboratively with government partners to implement a supplemental math and science program. We support teachers and administrators through training and resources, enable peer-to-peer learning, and gather data-driven insights to continuously improve program efficacy. We aim to reach over five million learners within the next three years.

 

**About the Role**

 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior State Program Lead to join our Schools Team and drive the successful implementation of our program with large public school systems in India. In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and state partners to ensure high-quality program delivery.

 

**Responsibilities:**

 

* Collaborate with state leadership to plan and execute the rollout of Khan Academy’s learning platform.

* Provide guidance and support to state partners throughout implementation, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

* Collaborate with internal teams (Content, Partner Operations, Teacher Enablement, Data & Efficacy) to ensure seamless program delivery.

* Proactively identify opportunities to enhance program success for teachers and students.

* Analyze large quantitative data sets to identify strategic levers for increasing program usage.

* Interpret qualitative feedback from state systems and adjust program plans accordingly.

* Build capacity within school systems for scalable and sustainable program implementation.

* Balance short-term execution with long-term strategic planning.

* Travel to partner locations as required.

 

**About You:**

 

* 8+ years of relevant work experience. Prior experience in education or large-scale government projects is highly preferred.

* Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.

* Strong project management skills, including scope definition, goal setting, timeline management, and quality assurance.

* Skilled at coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams, demonstrating effective people management skills without formal authority.

* Proficiency in analyzing large data sets, identifying trends, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.

* Excellent communication skills, able to adapt communication style to different audiences and formats (email, written documents, presentations, verbal). Multilingualism is a plus.

* A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new challenges and environments.

* Entrepreneurial mindset with a high tolerance for ambiguity, a passion for experimentation, and a bias toward action.

* Willingness to contribute to team efforts and support the growth of the organization.

* Passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on the world.

* Ability to work full-time from our office in Delhi, India (twice a week).
