Job Opportunity for Senior Web Developer (Drupal) at IT for Change in Bengaluru

IT for Change’s technology team is looking for a senior web developer with solid work experience in Drupal 8/9 who can bring in architectural and technical design perspectives to web design, development and hosting. As a member of a small team, you will wear many hats and your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Creating Drupal 9 custom content types, views, blocks, search pages and developing complex custom migrations
• Assisting with Drupal theming, with prior experience in HTML5, CSS, Javascript, bootstrap
• Administering Linux based web servers, including Drupal/WordPress installation, module/plugin/theme installation, configuration and maintenance updates. Experience with a popular control panel software such as cPanel is desirable
• Setting up MySQL/MariaDB database(s) as required for website development
• Experience with WordPress frontend development and any other LAMP stack applications is a plus.

The ideal candidate will also possess

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Clear and concise communication skills — both written and verbal
• Excellent time and project management skills, and
• Flexible attitude to learn popular Free and Open Source LAMP stack web applications and maintain them
• Please do not apply if your experience is solely on Drupal 7.
