Job Opportunity for Software Developer – Angular at UNDP in New Delhi

Duties and Responsibilities:

Within delegated authority, and in close cooperation with the Head – Technology and Solution, the Software Developer will be responsible for the following duties:

•   Work with an agile team to design and develop front-end and back-end solutions.

•   Translating designs and wire-frames into high quality code.

•   Cross-browser and cross-platform front-end web development including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and the latest technologies.

•   Communicate technical concepts with trade-offs, risks, and benefits.

•   Develop PoC and prototypes for easy-to-navigate user interfaces of webpages with graphics, icons, and color schemes which match industry standards.

•   Integrate with plugins when required, write scripts to automate routines and processes

•   Planning and implementing API integrations with third parties when required

•   Analyze business processes and user requirements 

•   Support software implementations and resolve any technical issues

•   Ensure data security and integrity.

•   Perform other duties as assigned.

IV. Recruitment Qualifications

Education: An university degree/diploma or professional qualification in computer science, information systems, or related field.

Experience:

•   5+ years of experience in MEAN stack. Linux, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX and Apache

•   3+ years of experience in the creation of back-end website appilcations. 

•   3+ years of experience in Angular, NodeJS, bootsrap, MongoDB and MySQL is required.

•   3+ years of experience in JavaScript, PHP, CSS, HTML and XHTML

Language Requirement:

•   Fluency in English (Required). 

•   Fluency in the national language of the duty station (Required).
