About the project:

Ankuram Business Innovators pilot program was rolled out successfully across Telangana, covering 8 districts and 35 schools last year. The program was focused on enabling the development of Entrepreneurial Mindsets in students through a curriculum which was experiential and Project based. The program was integrated into the school timetables and enabled through teachers within each school. The program would be expanded to cover over 400 schools across all 33 districts of Telangana in the academic year 2024-25.

We are looking for a Specialist (Operations) for Telangana who will be a part of the core team, and will work closely with the government partners to maximise reach and impact of the program.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Project Implementation and Monitoring: Take end-to-end ownership of executing various small and large scale components of the overall program, regularly share progress and challenges with the team and stakeholders
• Stakeholder Liaisoning: Work with multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships including government officials, partner organisations, resource persons, school principals and teachers
• Data Collection and Organizing: Document data related to program implementation including reports from field visits, challenges and insights

Skills, Experience and Mindsets:

• People skills – 2+ years of experience working collaboratively with govt stakeholders, preferably in the education sector
• Planning and Execution – Should be an independent thinker and problem solver, able to navigate uncertainty and execute small scale implementations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Bias for action – Hands on with operations, willing to pilot and experiment with different strategies, interact regularly with students and various stakeholders across the state, and make things happen with low budgets
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English & Telugu
• Hands-on experience of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Work Space (Doc, Sheet, Slide).
• Ability to work with multiple teams and manage specific asks and requirements
