Position Summary

A talented PHP / Drupal developer to manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. As a web developer, you will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. You will also be required to maintain the central database. To ensure success as a PHP / Drupal developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of Drupal 7/8/9, object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ultimately, a top-level PHP / Drupal Developer can design and build efficient PHP / Drupal modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.

Role & Responsibilities:

Conducting analysis of website and application requirements. Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP / Drupal modules. Developing back-end portals with an optimised database. Troubleshooting application and code issues. Integrating data storage solutions. Theme integration . Finalising back-end features and testing web applications. Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field. 4-6 years relevant work experience as PHP / Drupal developer Must have Knowledge of Drupal 7/8/9 Ability to create Drupal theme and custom modules Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Cakephp / laravel. Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and HTML5. Knowledge of MySql, database normalisation Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming. Previous experience creating scalable applications. Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases. Ability to manage servers. Good problem-solving skills.

Location and Compensation Location:

The role will be based out of Delhi. Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy and social sector pay scales andwill depend on the candidate’s experience levels.
