Job Responsibilities :
.

  • In-charge and responsible for the Central Control Room operations. Capable of operating DCS, Fire and Gas and ESD systems from Central Control Room.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies. Ensure plant inhibits, and overrides are controlled as per procedures and SMS guidelines.
  • Ensure personnel under supervision are fully competent and aware of their responsibilities
  • Optimize the process and reduce or control plant upsets and respond effectively to emergencies and carry out all operations in safe and environmentally sound manner.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting is submitted daily or as required by company and client. Works as rotation resource on / off at platform for incident free, smooth and uninterrupted operations
    Process Monitoring & Control:
  • Monitoring process parameters of Topsides and Subsea, well head at offshore facility and maintain and optimise within operating requirements.
  • Acknowledge alarms and giving inputs to alarm rationalisation and take corrective action in if any. Consult with OIM/Sr Lead operations and OT control room for improvement. 
  • Maintain clear, concise logs of all relevant events and inhibit logs to ensure that management and succeeding operators are fully aware of plant status at shift handover and to assist problem root cause analysis where appropriate
    Utility Operations:
  • Monitor process operation of Utility system from control room like HVAC, power generation, Water maker, Air Compressor, Nitrogen system, Fuel gas, diesel and maintain availability and quality as per set norms.
    Coordinate field Operations:
  • Ensure periodic changeover of Equipment as per schedules. coordinate sampling management for potable water, effluent water, KOD oil, Lube oil, Sea water and ensure positive isolation of equipment before handing over to maintenance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team for safe maintenance and shutdown activities.
  • Maintain clear and precise communications during maintenance steady state operations and shutdowns.
    Coordinate with Flow assurance teams:
  • work closely with water & Sand production management in wells # participate well inflow/outflow modelling and nodal analysis.
  • Evaluate, identify, and troubleshoot liquid loading, well closures, hydrate, and unloading problems in oil/gas wells. Perform sand/solid transportation studies for oil/gas wells in subsea pipelines.
    HSE Compliance:
  • Adher company HSE requirements and procedures viz. PTW, Contorl of Work, HITRA (JHA) , MoC etc..
  • Monitors SIMOPS, perform and maintain override registe and execution of process isolation.
  • Participate in risk assessment, ERP, Mock drills exercise and execute management plans as per guidelines.
  • Carryout Inspection whenever required of Valve position, Flange inspection for hydro carbon leak, pipeline colour code inspections, hazardous chemical handling.
  • Report all discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents, immediately.
    MIS & Documentation :
  • Prepare and submit daily progress report(DPR), monthly chemical consumption report and provide inputs to MPR.
  • Maintains FGS bypass register, Flange and Blind status checklist, HPU Log, Utility Log book, Loss preventive check list, Critical Alarm and trip log book and lock open/close checklist.
  • Participate and prepare SoPs.
    Education Requirement :
    BE (Chemical/Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering) from recognized universityExperience Requirement :
  • Specific experience – 5 Years in Offshore Operation Oil & Gas major size industry
  • Overall experience – 10 years# experience
    Skills & Competencies :
     
  • DCS, FGS, ESD system operations,
  • SAP, Process engineering, Process safety.
  • Contribute to control of critical situations and respond to emergencies.
  • Offshore Personal Survival, Management of Major Emergencies
