As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a key role in designing and creating exceptional user experiences for our digital products. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process, from conducting user research and gathering requirements to prototyping, wireframing, and delivering visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that the design vision is aligned with business objectives and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- User Research: Conduct user research activities, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behavior, needs, and preferences.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success criteria.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Visual Design: Develop visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with brand guidelines, usability best practices, and industry standards.
- Interaction Design: Design intuitive and user-friendly interactions, micro-interactions, animations, and transitions to enhance the user experience.
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests to validate design decisions and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
- Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency in the design process.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them improve their skills and grow professionally.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest UI/UX design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, and apply them to enhance the design process and deliver innovative solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Academic Certification in Design from premier institutes.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- User-Centric Approach: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and user research methodologies.
- Design Tools: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar software.
- Visual Design Skills: Strong visual design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout, with a keen eye for detail.
- Interaction Design: Experience in designing intuitive and interactive user interfaces with a focus on micro-interactions, animations, and transitions.
- Collaborative Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present design concepts to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into user-friendly design solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead design projects, mentor junior designers, and provide constructive feedback.
