Excellence in Execution and Outcome

  • Programme Implementation, Monitoring and Reporting
  • Ensuring operational efficiency
  • Taking responsibility for effective program delivery by ensuring operational plans are in place for the state team, programs are delivered according to the work plan and reviews are held within the team periodically. 
  • Identify and develop learning within program and facilitate the capturing of these learnings
  • Lead on identifying and evaluate potential risks related to program delivery and its impact and take necessary steps to mitigate them 
  • Anchor the Monitoring and Review process for the state with continuous validation by,
    • Making field visits and documenting case studies
    • Ensuring data collection and quality on kobo
    • Reviewing tableau dashboard for monitoring partner program metrics and capturing the efforts
    • Reviewing data quality on student portal 

Financial Management :

  • Ensure that financial procedures, practices and values are adhered to across the team.
  • Be part of the planning process for the team to ensure effective budget is in place and it is adhered to
  • Ensure partner budgets are in place and review spend as per the plan, raise red flags in case of any inconsistencies 

Relationship Management – Stakeholders

  • Identify, develop and manage relevant partnerships with other CSOs to implement the program effectively
  • Ensure partner plans are in place, reviews are streamlined and partner reports are coming in on time
  • Develop and sustain the relationship with the Government Education departments and other concerned departments
  • Coordinate effective field visits for the donors to understand the progress of the program being implemented; this would include scheduling appointments with relevant government ministries.
  • Anchor partner visits in the context of program review and facilitation for strengthening alignment of processes with the program design
  • Lead and participate in all program events to raise the profile of the organisation
  • Represent Quest Alliance in local and state forums and platforms
  • Identify appropriate stakeholders and partners for program delivery as and when required
  • Ensure MoUs with key partner organisations are in place and operational;
  • Ensure that key staff at the state and district  Government have a clear understanding of and regular involvement in the programs
  • Identify opportunities for joint activities with the  government staff (e.g. shared workshops etc.).
  • Share monthly reports with the relevant Government officials and ensure that the joint project review is conducted every 6 months
  • Work closely with the state lead in Gujarat to ensure alignment across of all Quest’s program in the state
  • Identify state specific fundraising opportunities and support partners in fundraising for the programs
