Job Opportunity for Strategic Partnerships Manager at Navgurukul

Website Navgurukul

We (navgurukul.org) run a one-year residential course for students from underrepresented communities to learn Software Engineering – get jobs (vocation!) and work towards the betterment of the surrounding communities (this is what we need, really – more problem solvers!). We have launched an online course and are currently working with 1000+ learners. We have a capacity of 750 students in our residential centers (300 in two campuses of Bangalore, 240 in Pune, 150 in Tripura and 60 in Dharamshala). More than 220 students have gotten jobs as Software Programmers after pursuing our courses.

Our campuses are completely self-governed spaces that are totally managed by the students. Cooking food, making products from locally grown bamboo, and learning to code. The students at NavGurukul lead everything on their own.

About the Outreach Team

The Partnership & Outreach team collaborates with NGOs, Government Bodies, Groups, and Individuals to identify and mobilize students for our 1-year of fully-funded residential program in Software Engineering. This deck will give you a detailed understanding of our program. Till now, the team has partnered with 9 Government bodies entities and 100+ NGOs across the country to bring the students to the campus. Our partners mobilize the students and the rest of the work is taken care of by us.

We are a tiny team of 4-5 young hustlers who bring the varied experiences of NGOs, Corporate, Policy, Community, Youth, etc. We are looking for co-conspirators and fellows stuck-on-impact team members in our chaos, madness, intensity, deadlines, and a lot of masti.

If you feel passionate about bringing change, committed, shameless, and persuasive, this is the right place for you!
