## Job Description: Consultant – Talent Acquisition

The Convergence Foundation (TCF) is a grant-making incubator established by leading Indian philanthropist Ashish Dhawan. TCF aims to tackle critical challenges facing India by building and supporting pioneering institutions and bold leaders. We currently back fourteen organizations across two pillars: direct engines of growth and human capital development, focusing on areas like labor-intensive manufacturing, science & technology, effective governance, and philanthropy acceleration.

**Position Summary**
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Consultant – Talent Acquisition. You will be responsible for talent acquisition for both The Convergence Foundation and our partner organizations. This role will encompass various tasks, including candidate and sector research, mapping, database building and maintenance, and executing our talent acquisition strategy.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Map job profiles to relevant talent pools in non-profits, for-profit organizations, and academic institutions.
* Define and build detailed job specifications based on organizational needs and skills requirements.
* Proactively identify and engage high-quality active and passive candidates interested in the impact sector through various channels:
* Founders and senior leaders networks
* Talent partner relationships
* Alumni programs
* Consulting organizations
* Campus placement drives
* Innovative sourcing methods
* Conduct extensive outbound candidate search and build an internal database to reduce reliance on external partners.
* Design appropriate job profiles and talent acquisition strategies for thematic areas and verticals.
* Create and maintain an accurate and updated database with key metrics to effectively track and monitor resource requirements.
* Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from sourcing to successful onboarding.
* Implement robust candidate selection processes including interview protocols, psychometrics, and reference checks.
**Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:**
* Undergraduate or Master’s degree from a top-tier institution in a relevant field (e.g., business, industrial/organizational psychology, human resources, communications).
* 2-5 years of work experience in a talent management role.
* Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to identify, inspire, and connect with top talent.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging internal and external audiences.
* Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, plan timelines, and meet deadlines.

* Adapt and remain flexible to changing circumstances and role demands.
* Demonstrates sensitivity, confidentiality, and discretion in interactions with prospective and active candidates beyond the recruitment process.
**Compensation:**
Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy pay scales and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience.
