Team Leader- Primary Years Program: English / EVS/ Maths/ Arts Education & Talent Development
Basic Position Details: The school has developed a unique research-based primary years curriculum for Grades 1 to 6 which focuses on balancing experiential learning with rigour. Each subject is taught through discipline-specific best practices while ensuring that students can develop deeper learning (i.e., ability to apply and transfer learning) across all subject areas. The school is looking for talented educators with leadership potential to lead and manage the academic cycle for specific subjects through curriculum design, teacher coaching and training, monitoring classroom teaching and student learning, parent education, etc. The goal is to ensure high quality curriculum design and implementation across various classes.
We are looking for candidates who are interested in leading any of these subjects or a combination of these subjects: English / EVS/ Maths/ Arts Education & Talent Development. This position will directly report to the Academic Coordinator of the primary school, School Principal and work closely with the school founder.
Desired Background:
• Qualifications: Master’s Degree in any field (preferably Teaching / Education)
• Teaching Experience: At least 3-5 years of teaching experience with a highly progressive/experiential teaching mindset and skillset
• Skills:
o Academic and research-oriented thinking
o Strong execution and coordination skills
o Strong curriculum development and documentation skills
o High Emotional Intelligence
