With over two decades of experience, PCI works closely with governments and partners to address public health, nutrition, gender equality, and decentralized renewable energy (DRE). Currently, PCI is collaborating with Prerna-OJAS, a private limited company promoting DRE initiatives, to provide technical assistance for rural livelihoods and green job creation.  

**Position Summary:**  

The Technical Manager – Distributed Renewable Energy will lead the development of sustainable solar-powered livelihood solutions for Prerna OJAS. This role involves designing innovative DRE systems, overseeing installations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to scale up DRE-based initiatives. The incumbent will also support micro-entrepreneurs and contribute to business model development for cost-effective and scalable solutions.  

**Experience Required:**  

– Minimum 5 years of experience in solar-powered livelihood systems and Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE) solutions.  

– Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing solar-based productive use applications such as solar water pumps, cold storage, and food processing units.  

– Familiarity with business models for DRE in rural areas and knowledge of financing mechanisms for renewable energy adoption.  

**Qualifications:**  

– B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field from a recognized university.  

– Additional certifications in renewable energy technologies are advantageous.  

**Skills:**  

– Strong technical expertise in DRE and solar-powered systems.  

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  

– Ability to analyze market trends and regulatory frameworks.  

– Hands-on experience in project implementation and stakeholder engagement.
