**Job Summary:**

PxD seeks a Technology Manager to support its Digital Agriculture Project Management Unit (PMU) within India’s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare (MoA&FW). This role bridges innovators of new technologies (e.g., generative AI, natural language processing), smallholder farmers, and various government and technical stakeholders.  The position requires subject matter expertise and project management support for AI and digital transformation initiatives, coordinating with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and supporting the IndiaAI mission.

**Responsibilities:**

* **Subject Matter Expertise and Coordination:** Serve as an AI subject matter expert, providing technical insights and guidance on AI-related projects, RFPs, and evaluation frameworks. Lead data privacy and cybersecurity governance.

* **Digital Product Management:** Facilitate vendor onboarding, translate government requests into product specifications and RFPs, and oversee deployment and integration of digital products.

* **Project Management and Innovation Pipeline:** Create and maintain digital transition plans, proactively address technical needs, ensure compliance with government initiatives, and coordinate across technical teams.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

* Proven experience in Software Engineering, applied AI, digital product management, and/or technical project management.

* Experience with security and data privacy best practices.

* Excellent project management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

* Strong understanding of government technology projects and familiarity with public sector RFP processes preferred.
