Job Description and Responsibilities:
- The Subject Matter Experts will work with the Program Managers to ensure quality content creation.
- Additionally, they will collaborate with government stakeholders and members across teams as and when required.
- The key responsibilities are as follows:
- • Research evidence-based practices and subject-specific training content on Telugu subject and pedagogy.
- • Design PPTs and sessions for teachers, school complex leaders, and officers as necessary
- • Design various components for blended learning courses, encompassing presentations, and voice-over narration scripts, alongside lesson plans and other material for teachers, to foster robust support and cultivate their ongoing professional development to Telugu teachers.
- • Design and review assessments to check for knowledge mastery for training
- • Review various components of Telugu content created
- • Review translations from English to Telugu, and vice versa.
- • Coordinating with government stakeholders for smooth operations and partnership with respect to Telugu content development
- • Conduct regular update meetings with organizational leadership and provide progress towards goals of the relevant programs in a consumable digital and print format to all stakeholders (LFE leadership + Govt)
- • Managing a team of 4-5 members
- • Conduct any observations or user interviews as necessary to gain feedback on created content and tweak it as necessary
- • Participate in all the organizational team spaces and structures Requirements Education & Experience
- • B.Ed/M.Ed/graduation in respective school subjects. Masters degree preferred.
- • 7-10 years of experience in teaching / content development / curriculum development across grades 3-10 in Telugu subjects.
- • Experience working in Andhra Pradesh / Telangana would be preferable
- • Experience working in high pressure environment delivering high quality outputs, working with rigorous feedback and ability to stick to deadlines Important:

- • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Telugu is mandatory.
- • Working knowledge of English both in written and oral communication is necessary.
- • Being able to take initiative and work in an autonomous, semi-structured environment
- • Belief in the potential of the public sector and that government systems can and will change towards overcoming systemic inequities and ensuring improved outcomes for all citizens
- • A basic understanding of social equity, development discourse, and education policy in India
- • Adaptability to changing responsibilities and resourcefulness to respond to them • High openness to learning and collaboration
- • Strong ability to create outstanding presentations, work with Microsoft Excel & Google Suite
- • Patience and resilience to stick it out in the face of setbacks and uncertainties Location and Compensation
- Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. .
- Compensation: Apart from being a part of a young and dynamic learning team, the individual will receive a healthy consultancy fees at par with the non-profit sector benchmark for this position, commensurate with the individual’s prior experience and qualifications. The current compensation band offered, based on fit and experience, is 4.00 – 6.00 lakh INR per annum CTC.
