Job Opportunity for Trainee – Fundraising (Donor Management-Retention) at WWF India in New Delhi

About the role: –

We at WWF India are looking for Young talents with excellent communication and networking skills who can cater to premium donors. The position starts with a 3 months training period as Fundraising Trainee where the candidate gets the chance to have an on job training from experienced professionals. Once the traineeship period is successfully completed (based on performance) the candidate gets the chance to join the WWF-India Team as a full time employee on the position of Fundraising Officer and gets benefits like PF, paid leaves, Leave Encashment, Salary hike and Insurance etc.

The role and responsibilities are as follows: –

·        Create resourceful ways to spread awareness about India’s biodiversity

·        Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.

·        Contact Donors through calls and explain WWF India’s work to members in a clear and exciting way to generate funds for supporting WWF-India’s conservation work.

·        Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers. Develop a long-term relationship with the donor and upgrade them to the donor pyramid.

·        Meet the fundraising target given by the line manager.

Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities: –

·        Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA from any recognized University/ Students in their last Semesters

·        Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.

·        Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.

·        Energy and drive to inspire people and promote WWF-India’s work.

·        Public Speaking skills

·        Ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks
