About the Role:

The Training & content  Associate plays a crucial role in supporting Teacher-led Model Schools at All KGBVs & APMS schools across 3 Districts. He/She closely work with the Program Associate.

The Amazon Future Engineers  project involves implementing a program where teachers are trained to run a Computational Thinking (CT) Club in their schools. The schools that participate will become Model Schools with a School Vision and Plan. Based on the availability of IT infrastructure, coding will be introduced through HOC (plugged/unplugged) to enhance students’ learning experience.

Timely delivery of tasks while exhibiting hands on knowledge of job

Lead and ensure timely execution of all training and capacity building initiatives planned for the teachers, students and other stakeholders in assigned districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Supporting the workshop design and delivery and developing training agendas in consultation with the training manager
Lead and ensure development of training plans according to the strategy for the programme for Depth and Scale model in coordination with team
Ensure development of Training & content strategy and its timely implementation
Drive experimentation and innovation strategies in the
 

Relationship Management – Stakeholders (Internal and External):

  • Leading and Facilitating the process to build relationships between district, school and community.
  • Be the focal point for the HMs in the schools and keep them informed about the progress of work and plan along with them.
  • Facilitating the Process of model school strategy in respective schools
    Conduct and participate in monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders.
    Reporting:
  • Ensuring the documentation of workshops/training/ meeting/ event reports.
  • Ensuring that the feedback data feeding is into the training dashboards.
  • Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time. Ensure all the relevant data for the project is available well in time.
  • Support M & E team to implement monitoring tools as per the project framework.
  • Document and share the best practices in the schools for publication in monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support with the documentation of Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments.
    Others:
  • Participate in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities
  • Seek regular capacity-building support from the team
  • Adhere to all the finance and HR policies of the organisation
  • Uphold the values of Quest Alliance
  • Support donor visits
  • Other duties as required. Occasionally working on weekends and holidays for which time compensatory leave can be taken.
    Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in Training or content capacity building in NGO sector or school facilitation, preferably in education Development sector.
  • Interest in working with Government school Teachers & students.
  • Willingness to learn and influence prevalent practices in the education ecosystem
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in Telugu (Mandatory ) and working knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside of the District.
  • Ability to train, build the capacity of, and manage relationships with new people
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
  • Ability to use technology and various virtual platforms like Google Hangout Meet, Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Chatbot and other google suite applications.
  • Excited about working with Teachers on 21st-century skills& computational thinking and Knowledge of coding/scratch and the Ed-Tech tools would be an advantage.
