We are looking for mature and dynamic professionals who have knowledge, expertise, and experience in public health, policy advocacy and action research. 

Location– Bangalore

Role:  As the State Lead, your responsibility includes managing program planning, operations and stakeholder engagement and its team members.  To this end, specific functions include:

  • Lead and deliver state level plans and programs:  Anchor and deliver the state level plans while ensuring quality to achieve milestones, in a effective and efficient manner while keeping operating principles and values of the organization.
  • Develop capacities and implementation interventions:  Develop capacities of the team to design, manage and deliver programs. Support teams to undertake action research, which are useful and used in sectoral decisions, policies and programmes effectively.  Also build a pool of network consultants who can contribute on a continuing basis and who are of similar value systems and are loyal to the requirements of the organization. Support teams for execution of deliverables.
  • Develop and strengthen collaborations & partnerships:  Proactively engage with sectoral players and catalyst group organisations for strategic work, collaborations, and a variety of programs and assignments, which further to our knowledge and sectoral contributions. 
  • Develop and implement tools, approaches and methodologies:  Constantly innovate and explore new vistas and develop, pioneer and adapt tools that significantly improve the way research is conducted and how the information is used in systems, decision and policy influencing.
  • Monitoring, Learning and Communications:  Focus on producing high quality and integrity of data and learning, which are useful and used in sectoral decisions, policies and programmes effectively. Implement the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning System with the support of the org MEL teams to measure the results and impact of the program.
  • Any other duties assigned from time to time by the organization.

Qualification: 

  • Ideally a post-graduate (Social Work / Public Health/ Economics/Development Studies) with knowledge and in-depth experience in project management, public health, and stakeholder management specific to industry leaders, donors and government (desired). Experience on Workforce wellbeing related areas would be an advantage.

Geography:

The state lead will be required to travel extensively across the regions within the state, as per the work requirement. Interstate travels might be required occasionally.
