Job Title: ELMS Sports Foundation is seeking candidates for the position of Vice President: Curriculum & Product development and M&E to lead and drive the Curriculum Design and Product development within the organization. The person is also expected to initiate the necessary monitoring and evaluation systems and build on those. Driving innovation in terms of technology and product designing is a key part of the work. The person will be reporting to the CEO ELMS Sports Foundation and will be supported by a dedicated team to lead the vertical.

Location: New Delhi (With requirement to travel to Project Locations on a regular basis)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Curriculum and Product Development:

  • develop and upgrade content for both Physical Literacy (PL) & High Performance (HP) verticals within the organization – inhouse and/or through consultants/partners.
  • study latest developments in the PL and HP spaces, identify what of these will be relevant in the Indian context and incorporate those into the content/pedagogy at ELMS.
  • Leverage appropriate digital technology efficiently for program implementation and brand building.
  • prepare policy notes for advocacy.

Monitoring, Impact Evaluation and Learning:

  • Setup metrics and processes within the organization to measure impact.
  • Put in place mechanisms and controls to ensure competencies of program staff, partners to deliver quality is consistent with expected quality standards.
  • Identify and build partnerships that would be useful to help ELMS become a thought leader in the space of Physical Literacy and High Performance.
  • Identify the training needs & set up processes to address those.
  • support in capacity building at High Performance centers.
  • Establish & drive the innovative initiatives to promote and progress the agenda of Physical Literacy Lab initiative – Some of the proposed initiatives are Sports for Development Fellowship and Innovation Lab.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of work experience with a minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant domain.
  • Experience of leading a team would be preferred.
  • Master’s degree in education, social sciences and humanities or related field from a recognized college or university.
  • Prior exposure to research, M&E for primary education, Physical Education, teacher training, and early childhood learning is highly desirable.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Strong writing and communication ability with the knowledge of basic computer operations such as MS Office suit is necessary.
  • Experience of leading an initiative within an organization will be valuable.
