## Vice Principal – Navi Mumbai

**About iTeach Schools:**

iTeach Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality education to students from low-income communities across India. We believe that all children deserve a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship, regardless of their background. We achieve this by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations, running free and high-impact secondary schools, and offering a college-to-career program. Currently, we operate 12 schools serving 4500 students and 3000 alumni, with a vision to expand to 30 schools and 10,000 students in the next five years.

**Job Location:** Airoli – Navi Mumbai

**Experience Required:**

* Exceptional performance as a teacher for 3-4 years

* Overall work experience of 5+ years, with success in leading 5+ member teams

* Proficient in project management

* Ability to lead a part of a larger team and deliver strong results

* **Preferred:** Experience in coaching and development of teachers

**Responsibilities:**

The Vice Principal, in collaboration with the Principal, is responsible for the overall management and development of the school, including:

**School Design:**

* Designing the student week, unit, and year, keeping the school vision, context, and resources in mind.

* Managing the school’s operations, including systems for facility management, data recording and submission, and government permissions (in collaboration with the Network Team).

* Creating and sustaining a nurturing and high-performing staff and student culture.

* Monitoring all aspects of the school’s day-to-day functioning and making progress towards the school vision, achieving better results with every passing year.

**Team Management:**

* Building deep relationships with each staff member and co-creating ambitious end-of-year goals.

* Coaching approximately ten staff members in various aspects of their work (design, execution, and reflection).

* Reviewing staff member progress quarterly and assisting in identifying critical levers for improvement.

* Defining and building a healthy and high-performing staff culture, leading regular culture norming meetings to ensure alignment and refinement.

* Collaborating with HR to ensure win-win career paths for staff members and their retention.

**Program Partner Coordination:**

* Identifying, vetting, and partnering with approximately five program partners (organizations providing specialized opportunities to students, e.g., football coaches, ed-tech solutions) who work with the school throughout the year.

* Managing volunteers to provide staff with the necessary support (e.g., teaching assistants).

**Compensation and Benefits:**

iTeach Schools offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with the candidate’s education and work experience. The salary range for this position is 8.9 – 10.5 LPA CTC. Benefits include PF, gratuity, medical insurance (up to 3 lakh PA), paid leaves, annual increments, and promotion opportunities.
