Job Description

This is a remote position.


​Give, India’s largest and most trusted crowdfunding platform is looking for a visual storyteller with 3-4 years of experience in creating meaningful, crisp and creative videos. The role is an integral part of the Give marketing team with a focus on visual storytelling for our crowdfunding platform. The role also has scope of traveling to shoot the videos in multiple locations.  Candidate should be a practitioner/believer in social good. 


  • Work cooperatively with the team to develop and produce pictures/ videos.
  • Operate various equipment, including video camera, and video editing tools and software.
  • Ability to compose consistent shots with visual standards, quality levels and creative briefs.
  • Process files properly – organizing, naming, resizing and colour correcting.
  • Ability to manage workload and ensure effective execution.
  • Effective communication with peers and supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Periodically benchmark quality of work with best in class India and international competition
  • Create a framework to capture learnings and implement this and test out results with the digital performance marketing team


  • Strong storytelling skills
  • Ability to interpret the content/script into visually appealing video story bytes
  • Understanding the context of each piece of content/script and ensuring a logical and seamless sequencing of footage to tell cohesive and authentic real life stories.
  • Sense of design: Since a lot of our video content goes on social media platforms, it is imperative to have a design sense of how it is going to look like on these platforms. If there is a thumbnail design or starting or end frame or designing name tags for e.g. are some of the usual graphic requirements (not the only ones). And though minimal, they are a very important part of packaging of the video.
  • Ability to ideate new visual storytelling formats
  • Editing and audio mix experience.
  • Should be a keen observer, a listener with a collaborative attitude and ready to test various video/content suggestions.
  • Deep understanding of video creation for digital platforms and on social platforms.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high proficiency in digital photography, lighting, composition and creativity.
  • Proficiency with software- Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom and other Technical equipment.
  • Must be proactive, organized and efficient.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Associate degree or equivalent certification in video/film production.
  • Prior experience of shooting and editing videos of NGOs and social sector organisations. Not Mandatory.
