Job Opportunity for Workshops Associate at Skrap in Mumbai/Bengaluru

At Skrap, we create sustainability-themed workshops and activities to inspire, engage and influence positive climate action. Our workshops are designed to introduce new concepts, share solutions and help translate ideas/ intent into action.

Apply for this role if you have prior teaching/ facilitation experience, lead a low-waste lifestyle and are excited about building sustainability workshops + activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Moderate and/or facilitate workshops, both online and in-person (and have fun while you’re at it)
• Plan and coordinate with clients for smooth workshop execution
• Research and design content for new engagement activities (let’s make sustainability fun and interesting!)
• Develop content for online courses
• Create communication materials (catchy captions, emailers, posters) to create excitement around the workshop

• Have knowledge and hands-on experience on sustainable living and lead a low-waste lifestyle. Are curious to learn more and also experiment in your daily life with new sustainability ideas and concepts.
• Have good public speaking and storytelling skills (confident and comfortable with an audience, feel the pulse of your audience, can draw participants in)
• Have prior facilitation experience with children and/or adults for 2+ years
• Have created content and learning experiences for children and/or adults
• Have basic knowledge of Canva
• Are proficient in English (written and spoken) and Hindi (spoken)

Location:

This is a full-time role open to candidates based in Mumbai or Bangalore.
